Canada is a country occupying most of northern North America, extending from the Atlantic Ocean in the east to the Pacific Ocean in the west and northward into the Arctic Ocean. It is the world's second largest country by total area and shares land borders with the United States to the south and northwest. It is also one of the finest countries in the world to live in...with its massive natural resources, its incredibly beautiful scenery, its caring and compassionate world view, a population that is diverse and creative and tolerant, and it is home to more than a million people of Indian origin.... Kerala is a state located in southwestern India. Considered one of the most beautiful regions of the world - the National Geographic Traveler magazine has proclaimed it as one of the “Ten Paradises of the World” and among the "50 Most Desirable Destinations." Known popularly as "God's Own Country", Kerala has everything: mountains and valleys with dense forests teeming with wildlife (elephants, tigers, bears, boars, monkeys, bison, deer and snakes), rivers, lakes, backwaters and lagoons, great beaches and a friendly and educated people. Kerala is also known as Spiceland and is a major producer of pepper, cardomom, ginger, turmeric etc. Thousands of Malayalees - as the people of Kerala are called - have made Canada their home.

The Persian Gulf, in the Southwest Asian region(The Middle East), is an extension of the Indian Ocean located between Iran and the Arabian Peninsula. Countries with a coastline on the Persian Gulf are (clockwise, from the north): Iran, Oman (exclave of Musandam), United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar on a peninsula off the Saudi coast, Bahrain on an island, Kuwait and Iraq in the northwest. The region is one of the richest in the world because of its oil resources. More than a million Malayalees work in contract jobs in the six Gulf countries along with millions of other workers from every corner of the world. Find out more...
